For writing this review about SilFer Bots, I used the criteria of my post “How to choose the best chatbot software“.
The user interface is fine, but could be better (if you compare it with other interfaces, such as Chatfuel, MobileMonkey and ManyChat). When you log in, you will see a dashboard with the stats of your chatbot. On the left hand, you have a menu with options to do with your chatbot. But, there is a disadvantage. Some features (like Sequences) are really hidden in the interface. You need to really “dig” in the interface, to notice these features and they are also not presented in the menu.
Moreover, SilFer Bots makes use of blocks to build your chatbot. However, you cannot structure these blocks in certain folders, so there is not a really good overview. This really becomes a problem when you have a chatbot with a large number of blocks:
But, when editing the individual blocks there is a good overview with a lot of chatbot elements (more on that in the next section):
Also, there is a button for previewing your chatbot, but this is not working.

With SilFer Bots it is possible to use a lot of chatbot elements, there is only one which I could not check on the list, which is Date Validation, so certainly not a big deal. They do absolutely great on this one!

With SilFer Bots it is really easy to add attributes and tags to specific users. Based on those tags and attributes, you can create user segments and send specific messages to them. Within SilFer Bots, you have a good overview of your complete audience:
Within this overview, you can send particular flows to the user, engage with them in a livechat or add custom tags.
The only disadvantage is that the user cannot share their location with the chatbot.

Within SilFer Bots you can send broadcasts and campaigns (sequences) to your audience. Moreover, it is possible that users can subscribe and unsubscribe from these campaigns.
Also, you can use a function called “Conditions”, which allow you to send messages based on logic and calculation. This is a really useful function when you want to send personalized messages to your audience.
And here comes the BIG plus for SilFer Bots. SilFer Bots is multi-language. And not only that you can make a chatbot in every language, but you can also translate that chatbot to multiple languages! I do not know how you do this practically, because then you need to contact SilFer Bots themselves, but it is possible. What I did notice is that you can easily translate the Persistent Menu tot any language:

AI & NLP
With SilFer Bots you get basic AI&NLP, this means that they only allow for keyword recognition.
It is not possible to capture the intent of the user, or the use of synonyms (for example).
As you can notice from my introduction, SilFer Bots is focused on e-commerce chatbots for Facebook Messenger. This means that they only provide Facebook Messenger and no other channel.
This could be a bummer for companies who want to build an omni-channel experience for their customers.
SilFer Bots has a built-in livechat integration, which is the most important integration that you can have (so a plus for that). Also, they have an integration with Zapier, which allows you to connect to every other software on the earth. Next to Zapier, they also provide Integromat, Google Sheets and webhooks.
Moreover, they provide a few direct e-mail marketing software integrations, such as MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, Moosend and Truemail.

The pricing of SilFer Bots is extremely attractive. It comes with a free plan, which stays free forever. Within this plan you can engage with 100 users, have 300 sales and 50 products. The other plan is the Pro plan, which costs 9$ per month and then you have 500 users, unlimited sales and unlimited products. The price of the Pro plan increases with the number of users. For example, with 2.500 users you pay 19$, which is still not really cheap.

SilFer Bots give basic analytics. It could be better, but it could also be much worse.
They provide analytics for messages the chatbot could not give an answer to (“User input”), so it is possible to improve the answers of your chatbots.
With the focus on e-commerce, they do provide quite extensive e-commerce analytics, such as the sales, number of orders, number of products in the orders, top products and top vendors:

SilFer Bots has a direct integration with Shopify and WooCommerce. With the click on one button you can import all products of your webshop directly in SilFer Bots.
With SilFer Bots you can decide whether you want the user to pay directly in the chatbot or through your webshop. When you connected your chatbot to WooCommerce or Shopify, the user get redirected to the checkout of your store.
When you don’t have an integration with WooCommerce or Shopify, you can connect the software to Stripe and let the user pay directly in the chatbot! Also, when adding products you can add a lot of information:

This allows you to provide a complete webshop experience within your chatbot!
These are features which are really useful when you have your own webshop. What is a little bit “strange” to me is that they do not have a cart abandonment feature, which is really basic in most e-commerce software.

With SilFer Bots it is possible to optimize your chatbot through A/B testing.

SilFer Bots supports 28 templates (also in different languages), so it is really easy to setup your chatbot. Moreover, they do provide documentation, tutorials and customer support. I must say that the documentation is a little bit minimal, but I think this will grow with their platform.
Also, they have a Facebook community, but it only has 29 members at the moment, so I hope this will grow as well.

SilFer Bots is really great software for building your e-commerce chatbot on Facebook Messenger. With one click you can import all of your products from your Shopify / WooCommerce webshop and start selling them through Facebook Messenger. When you don’t have a webshop already, you can use Stripe to sell them directly through your chatbot. And the best of all: for a really cheap price.
But there is also a drawback: this is chatbot software only for Facebook Messenger. Not for websites, not for Twitter and not for Whatsapp. So for companies who want to provide an omni-channel experience, this could be a problem.
Overall: great software for your e-commerce store for a cheap price!
